Fair Housing

Every client, every property, every time. Equal Housing Opportunity.

Last updated: August 8, 2026

The Anchor Point Group and Premiere Plus Realty fully support and comply with the federal Fair Housing Act, the Florida Fair Housing Act, and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. We are committed to providing equal professional service to everyone.

Protected classes

Federal law makes it illegal to discriminate in the sale, rental, or financing of housing because of:

  • Race or color
  • Religion
  • National origin
  • Sex, including sexual orientation and gender identity
  • Familial status, meaning families with children under 18, and pregnant people
  • Disability

Florida's Fair Housing Act mirrors these protections statewide. Some Southwest Florida jurisdictions add further protected characteristics, and we follow those as well.

What this means when you work with us

  • We will not steer. We will not guide you toward or away from a neighborhood based on the demographics of the people who live there, and we will not characterize an area as "good" or "bad" on that basis.
  • We answer neighborhood questions with facts and sources. For questions about schools, crime, or the makeup of a community, we will point you to the official public data so you can draw your own conclusions.
  • We market properties to the whole market. Advertising will not state a preference, limitation, or discrimination based on any protected class.
  • We follow seller instructions only where they are lawful. We cannot and will not carry out a discriminatory instruction from any client.

Accessibility and reasonable accommodation

If you have a disability and need an accommodation to view a property, receive documents in an alternative format, or communicate with us in a particular way, tell us and we will arrange it. See our Accessibility Statement for how we handle this website specifically.

If you believe you have been discriminated against

You can file a housing discrimination complaint with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at hud.gov/fairhousing or by calling 1-800-669-9777 (TTY 1-800-927-9275). Complaints under state law may be filed with the Florida Commission on Human Relations. You may also raise a concern with us or with Premiere Plus Realty directly.
